The post
The Faculty wishes to recruit a 0.5FTE Postdoctoral Research Associate to support the work of Dr Jo Butterworth and the Cross-NIHR-Collaboration for Multiple Long-Term Conditions. This NIHR-funded post is available from January 2025 until December 2026. There may be the possibility of extension subject to funding. The successful applicant will conduct a scoping review of the research literature relating to models of care for people living with multiple long-term conditions and a priority setting exercise (as per James Lind Alliance). Activities will include: writing and publishing the review protocol, building and carrying out searches, data extraction, analysis, write up and publication of findings; protocol writing, survey design and distribution, categorisation and analysis of findings; coordination of stakeholder workshops. The research programme will inform research prioritisation work and further grant applications.
About you
Applicants will possess a relevant PhD (or nearing completion) or possess experience in a related field of study and be able to demonstrate sufficient knowledge in the discipline and have relevant research skills in order to work within the research programme.
The successful applicant will be able to work collaboratively, present information on research and outcomes, communicate complex information, orally, in writing and electronically and prepare proposals and applications to external bodies. They will need to able to manage competing research and administrative demands and deadlines.
