We are looking to appoint an outstanding individual to join our newly-formed Sheffield Creative Industries Institute (SCII) in the field of Public Relations.
Are you passionate about teaching, assessment and research? You will be expected to make broad contributions to the academic work of the Journalism and PR team at both undergraduate and post graduate level.
We are especially keen to hear from applicants who can deliver quality research and other forms of scholarly activity, as part of a multi-disciplinary group.
You must have well-developed and current knowledge and understanding of critical, practical and theoretical issues relevant to PR and national and/or international PR experience in a relevant industry.
The capacity to design and deliver transformative and innovative learning experiences is essential, as is the ability to deal with related administrative duties.
For this job, we particularly welcome applications from minority ethnic applicants who are underrepresented in this area at Sheffield Hallam.
We offer a diverse range of benefits and opportunities to pursue a rewarding and fulfilling career in a supportive environment.
You will be contractually enrolled into the Teachers’ Pension Scheme (TPS) – one of the largest and most generous defined benefit pension schemes in the country.
The University may be able to sponsor the employment of international applicants in this role; this will depend on a number of factors specific to the individual applicant.
We welcome applications for flexible working arrangements.
