- THE ROLE -
To contribute to the leadership and delivery of the Physician Associate programme with a focus on clinical placement learning. The post holder will work closely with clinical colleagues and the business support team within the School of Medicine to ensure high quality education for students, aligning with the GMC requirements in Promoting Excellence.
- ABOUT YOU -
- Degree at 2.1 level or above or equivalent in a relevant discipline e.g. PGDip/MSc/Integrated Masters in PA studies, MBBS/MBChB etc.
- Experience of teaching a range of topics relevant to Physician Associate Education/ Medical Education subject areas, and knowledge of the practical clinical skills necessary for a qualified physician associate.
- Awareness of Quality Assurance processes within higher education and clinical placements, and quality standards relevant to PA/ medical education.
