- THE ROLE -
The postholder will provide strategic leadership and be accountable for the provision of access to an innovative digital discovery and access infrastructure and content and collection development across the Library Service at Ulster to ensure an excellent user experience. The post-holder will be a member of the Library Leadership Team and will be expected to make a significant contribution to strategic planning to include service delivery and cultural transformation.
This role requires a candidate with strong leadership ability, effective communication skills, a proven record in the successful delivery of change projects along with the ability to motivate and inspire others to deliver service excellence.

- Degree or equivalent level professional qualification
- Evidence of successful leadership, management, and motivation of multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality services
- Ability to think strategically and develop, implement and monitor operational plans to deliver and prioritise the area’s strategic and operational goals
