About the College:
Homerton is the newest and one of the biggest Cambridge Colleges, and draws on over 250 years of commitment to education and public service. Homerton College is a College of the University of Cambridge. It has a student population of about 1,200 plus 60 fellows and 120 management, administration and support staff.
College admits undergraduates in a wide range of Cambridge Tripos subjects; it also has a thriving population of Graduate and Postgraduate Certificate of Education students. It is developing further its research and teaching community across the academic spectrum.

About the role:
The Sales Ledger Administrator will join our dynamic Finance team, and will assist in all aspects of the sales ledger, including processing sales invoices and processing corrected sales invoices. Checking the debtor data to make sure that all outstanding data is relevant and correct on the customer accounts and identifying unnecessary duplication. The postholder will undertake payment from students and answer basic financial queries.
Previous experience working in a College environment would be an advantage but is not essential. Good working knowledge of Sage Intacct (or similar accounts packages) would be desirable too.
The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills. You should be able to work independently as well as in a team and have a pro-active approach to problem solving. Attention to detail, a high level of accuracy and effective time management are essential.
