Join our Legal & Governance Directorate as an Information Governance Officer!
At Manchester Metropolitan University, our Information Governance team within the Legal & Governance Directorate plays a critical role in overseeing compliance with data protection and freedom of information legislation. Upholding the data subject rights and responding to requests in a timely and effective manner is central to our compliance programme.
This is an exciting opportunity for an Information Governance Officer to join a team of professionals experienced in the field of data protection, freedom of information and records management. You’ll have the chance to actively shape and develop the University’s information governance function and contribute to a culture of compliance across the institution. The work is intellectually challenging rewarding.
Your Responsibilities:
This role will play an important part in helping the University meet its strategic goals while ensuring appropriate levels of compliance with information governance related legislation.
