Applications are invited for a Development in the School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences. You provide a high level of expertise supporting the Sheffield ATLAS team in the development and construction of the ATLAS Upgrade Inner Tracking Detector. This detector will ultimately be operational at CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research on the LHC accelerator in the very centre of ATLAS, one of the largest experiments designed to explore the secrets of the universe. You will be a key member of the research team, supporting and contributing to a variety of research activities to ensure the smooth running of projects. Primarily splitting time between the ATLAS Cooling Development Laboratory, and the Sheffield Semiconductor Development facility.
