The Lothian Birth Cohorts Group within the Psychology Department, School of Philosophy, Psychology and Language Sciences is seeking a PDRA on a full time, fixed term contract until 30th of June 2025 initially (with the possibility of a further 4-year extension). This post is expected to commence in March 2025.
We are recruiting a PDRA to contribute to a National Institutes of Health (NiH) funded project alongside Principle Investigator Dr Sarah Harris. The post holder will work with new longitudinal data in the Lothian Birth Cohort 1936, one of the best-characterised longitudinal studies in the world, and will also combine data from other world-class prospective studies of cognitive, and brain aging to create the largest study of protein biomarkers and longitudinal cognitive and brain changes, prior to clinical Alzheimer’s disease diagnosis, to date.
The role shall be based within the Psychology Building, 7 George Square. Opportunities for discussion on informal hybrid workplace arrangements can be discussed at the time of offer, however please note that some on campus working is required.
