Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Genetics within UCD School of Biomolecular and Biomedical Science.
The UCD School of Biomolecular and Biomedical Science is offering a 5 Year, full-time Lectureship/Assistant Professorship to contribute to our Undergraduate (BSc) and Postgraduate (MSc) programmes, in particular in the areas of Human Genetics and/or Computational Biology. In addition, it is expected that the successful candidate will provide leadership and expertise in the implementation of a research programme in genetics, particularly in any area of human genetics, genomics or bioinformatics.
The BSc and MSc programmes delivered by the School are amongst the most popular in UCD Science. The successful candidate will join a vibrant teaching- and research-intensive School and actively participate in the design and delivery of teaching modules at fundamental and advanced levels of the undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum.
We are looking to recruit an individual with a proven track record of research and publication, who will establish a vibrant and interdisciplinary research programme that complements current research expertise in the School.
Lecturer / Assistant Professor (below the Bar)\2010 Salary Scale: €40,682 - €69,886 per annum
Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
