This role is ideal for someone who has subject expertise and professional practice experience in sport and exercise psychology and experience in designing and delivering higher education provision within this field. The successful candidate will thrive in an environment where they work inter-professionally and can continue to practice and research, whilst providing an outstanding student academic experience to develop high quality graduates in the field. Leadership, passion, solution-focussed, and good communication skills are key qualities of interest.
The role holder will be expected to be a member of an appropriate professional body, for example The British Psychological Society (BPS) or The British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (BASES) and be able to provide expert professional practice experience and education to our students. We encourage applicants from all areas of sport and exercise psychology. The role holder will also join an active research and knowledge exchange community and therefore have the opportunity to develop their research and professional practice contributing to the Centre for Integrated Research in Life and Health Sciences.
