We are looking for a Post Doctoral Research Assistant to join the research team for a Cancer Research UK funded research project in the School of Healthcare Sciences.

In this role, you will:

  • Undertake research by planning, preparing, setting up, conducting and recording the outcome of qualitative interviews
  • Analyse and communicate complex ideas, concepts and data using appropriate methods and packages
  • Generate research output and contribute to the development of independent and original ideas as appropriate

We’d like to hear from you if you have:

  • A degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge and experience of qualitative research interviewing
  • A proven ability to analyse complex qualitative interview data

As part of this role, we can explore the possibility of the successful candidate accessing further training and development through an on-the-job apprenticeship. The appropriate level and type of apprenticeship training will be discussed with the successful applicant.

This role is eligible to be offered on a blended working basis, meaning that as well as spending time working on campus you may spend some time working from another location, e.g. your home.
