An opportunity has arisen for a Senior School Administrator to provide comprehensive and professional support to the Fitness to practice (FTP) and discipline processes within the School as well as supporting a range of other activities.  This is an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant and fast-paced environment based on the Foresterhill campus. The job is interesting and diverse and would suit someone who is proactive, detail driven, and works well under pressure and with limited supervision.  The person appointed will work within the Polwarth Building, that provides mixed office, education and meeting spaces and colleagues are friendly, supportive and committed to their roles and the teams they work in.

The postholder will work alongside the Education Governance Manager to provide high level support to the Fitness to Practice (FtP) processes within the School.  This includes implementing changes to regulations set out by governing bodies as well as guidance set locally and ensuring that staff and students are aware of these regulations and any changes.  The role will provide ongoing support to staff and students throughout the procedures.  The postholder will also support the Education Governance Manager in ensuring that all processes and procedures relating to education governance across the School are adhered to e.g. appeals, complaints, disciplinary cases, FOIs, student society regulation.  The postholder will also support colleagues across the School in terms of collaborative and partnership agreements, as well as accreditation processes.

In addition to the governance activity, this role will also provide high level administrative support for PGR activity within the School and some resilience for School-level communications.

Salary will be at the appropriate point on the Grade 6, £37,999 - £45,163 per annum, pro rata and negotiable with placement according to qualifications and experience.
