Are you an experienced Senior Delivery Manager looking for a new and exciting opportunity? Look no further! We are seeking a Senior Delivery Manager to join our team on a Fixed Term Contract as we embark on a journey of digital transformation and growth.
In this role, you will work closely with our Head of Portfolio to oversee and optimize the delivery of a large and complex Transformation Programme and you will be expected to directly manage the most complex and contentious activities.
You will use both agile and waterfall methodologies to ensure successful execution, meet defined objectives, and enhance operational efficiency.
As a Senior Delivery Manager, you will play a crucial role in stakeholder engagement, liaising with Senior Officer teams and academics across the University to ensure timely and effective delivery of the programme. You will also manage relationships with third-party suppliers, ensuring alignment with the University’s processes and monitoring SLAs, escalation procedures, and configuration management issues.

As a Senior Delivery Manager, you are an expert in your field, with a wealth of knowledge and experience at your disposal. Your role is critical to the success of a large complex programme, as you are responsible for overseeing and optimizing the delivery.
You are a master of both agile and waterfall methodologies, and can expertly utilize them to ensure that all projects are executed successfully and meet defined business objectives, while enhancing operational efficiency.
In addition to your technical expertise, you are also a natural leader, able to inspire and support your colleagues in the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement. You have a hands-on approach, and can manage even the most complex and contentious activities with ease.
