The School of Veterinary Medicine wishes to appoint a School Administrator (Assessments) to join our growing team. We are looking for a dynamic, organised and proactive individual looking to make a significant impact in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will work collaboratively and flexibly with academic staff and professional service colleagues to directly support the assessment process within the School. You will provide specialist advice and guidance to staff on the use of examinations software and take responsibility to the IT platform used to deliver online examinations.

Experience of assessment and examination processes is essential for this role. You must have excellent time management and organisational skills and be able to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders. Demonstrating and evidencing willingness to quickly rise to the challenge in a busy environment will be a big advantage for candidates applying for this role, however we do not require the post-holder to have previous experience in the veterinary profession.

Applicants will have a range of GCSEs, including English Language and Maths at Grade 4/C or above, or appropriate equivalent experiential learning. Experience of organising, updating and maintaining accurate data records and information is essential, as is the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.

Informal enquiries are welcomed - please contact Andrea Singleton, School Operations Manager, School of Veterinary Medicine via email in the first instance.

Applicants need to meet all essential criteria on the person specification to be considered for interview.
