The Pandemic Sciences Institute (PSI) have an exciting opportunity to recruit a highly motivated Programme Officer to provide maternity cover to support the Africa Pandemic Sciences Collaborative, a high-profile initiative delivered in partnership with Science for Africa (SFA) Foundation and Mastercard Foundation. This position is based at the Old Road Campus in Headington, Oxford.
As the Programme Officer it is essential that you are educated to degree level in a relevant field. You will have experience in administration or project management, ideally, within a large organisation, and a systematic, thorough and well-organised approach to work with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks. You should have experience in supporting stakeholders, using tact, sensitivity and discretion to build effective relationships at all levels and anticipate the needs of different individuals. You should also have excellent IT skills, particularly in the use of Microsoft Excel.
