The Role

The University of London has been offering degrees through distance and flexible learning for nearly 200 years and is internationally regarded as a centre of academic excellence. Today, the University offers more than 100 degrees, diplomas and certificates that can be studied anywhere around the world.

This role will provide comprehensive support to Dr Sky Zheng, the Executive Director of Digital and Distance Education. Dr Zheng’s position is a new role focused on expanding and securing the University’s leading position in digital and distance education in an increasingly competitive market.  In your role, you will be providing executive support to Dr Zheng that will enable him to drive growth across our digital and distance learning programmes and ensure a seamless, high-quality student experience that leverages state-of-the-art technology.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, efficient and personable. This role is suited to someone who is adept at managing multiple tasks, including diary management, and document organisation, travel and logistics planning, while handling enquiries and maintaining communication with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Required to work to a very high standard of accuracy, you will have excellent organisational skills and be able to demonstrate initiative in planning your own workload.
