The R&D department invests in our own plant breeding programmes with the goal to produce new and improved varieties of arable and vegetable crops, playing our part in the global challenge for sustainable food production and food security.

Job Specification

We are seeking a motivated Head of Research & Laboratory Services to lead our laboratory team. This role oversees our laboratory services, including micropropagation, genomics, pathology and trait discovery, that drive our breeding programmes and serve third party customers. You will manage and develop our team and laboratory facilities, translate innovation goals into impactful research projects and foster collaborations with researchers and industry experts.

Qualifications Skiils

• PhD in Plant Sciences or equivalent
• Proven leadership and team development skills
• Strong project and laboratory management expertise, including H&S knowledge
• Background in plant sciences and familiarity with laboratory equipment
• Excellent collaboration and networking skills
