Hours: Part-time (17.5 hours per week): must be available on Wednesdays

The Postgraduate Certificate in Supervision: Children and Young People’s Mental Health and Wellbeing Services is for clinicians and managers working in services committed to delivering transformation and change in CYP Mental Health and Wellbeing Services. The programme represents a departure from discipline-based supervision to supporting the development of competencies in supervisors to enable the delivery of a range of models in their services aligned to the evidence base for low intensity interventions.

We are seeking a Programme Director to provide maternity leave cover, ideally starting in March 2025. You will ensure satisfactory development and ongoing delivery of the Pg Cert Supervision programme, according to UCL standards and regulations and in line with programme learning objectives. You will be able to seek new and innovative ways to develop and enhance programme content, whilst ensuring high standards in delivery of teaching and learning are also maintained. You will also make a contribution to teaching and assessment depending on your area of expertise. Within your role, you will undertake the line management of programme staff, as well as oversee (as required) recruitment, induction, training, performance and development. You will also work in close collaboration with a number of key internal stakeholders and external partners in delivering this programme over the academic year.

We are seeking a mental health professional with experience of curriculum design, assessment and programme organisation within an Higher Education context. A relevant qualification in the field of mental health is required. You will demonstrate experience of working in CYPMH and Wellbeing Services, leadership skills, and the ability to work cross-culturally in relation to clinical practice. A commitment to delivering high-quality standards in teaching and assessment, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for trainees to enhance student experience is significant for this role. Location

Hybrid working (a mixture of onsite and home/remote working). Staff are working onsite for at least 20% of their working hours at our London site (4-8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH). Some flexibility will be required to attend teaching days and staff/team events in-person.

Contract duration

Fixed-term, 12 months maternity cover.
