The School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences are seeking to recruit a Research Associate funded by an EPSRC grant ‘Geometry from Donaldson-Thomas invariants’ held by Professor Thomas Bridgeland.
You will have a PhD (or equivalent experience) in algebra, geometry or mathematical physics, or evidence of working towards this qualification.
You will also have expertise in algebra, geometry or theoretical physics, with specific knowledge of any one of the following areas: stability conditions, Donaldson-Thomas theory, topological string theory, mirror symmetry, cluster algebras, supersymmetric gauge theory, non-abelian Hodge theory.
