About the role
PLEASE NOTE: We are able to consider part time and full time applicants for this job, at anything from three to five days a week. For three days a week this will focus on supporting students on our Masters in Law and Finance, which goes live in September 2025. Any further days will support the UCL Careers central delivery function.
Duties for each area as follows:
Law and Finance:
You'll be developing materials for a careers education programme, as well as setting up placements with employers for the first cohort of students due to start in September 2025. You'll also support and develop the students via talks, workshops and events, along with conducting 1:1 careers guidance appointments.
UCL Careers central delivery:
You'll support and develop students from a range of faculties and departments via talks, workshops and events, along with conducting 1:1 careers guidance appointments.

We plan to hold interviews in early January 2025.
About you
Things you'll need for this job include:
-Work experience at graduate-level (ideally within the legal, financial or commercial sectors).
-Ability to communicate clearly and appropriately with a range of audiences.
-A high level of professional and interpersonal skills.
-The ability to use qualitative and quantitative information
-The ability to plan, prioritise and implement long-term projects and regular tasks
-The ability to identify personal strengths and weaknesses, and a willingness to develop
