Can you provide bioinformatics support to research projects? Do you have a strong interest in brain tumour research and a working knowledge of python and R? Are you able to generate pipelines for data analysis and interpretation?
A short term post has become available in the Glioma Genomics group, suitable for a candidate with bioinformatics expertise and an understanding of, and experience working with, brain cancer gene expression data. The person will be tasked with building a user-friendly computational pipeline, for use by non-experts, that enables new gene expression data from brain tumour patients and experimental models to be processed efficiently via a bespoke, but existing, analytical workflow.
