The Babraham Institute in Cambridge, UK, invites applications for tenure-track and tenured group leader positions in the Immunology Programme. We welcome applications from either established Principal Investigators or from Postdocs who are ready to lead their own independent research group. We are particularly interested to hear from candidates who can strengthen and complement our expertise in RNA biology and/or in vivo studies of immunity across the lifecourse.

The Institute carries out fundamental bioscience with relevance to human health and ageing and is organised into Programmes of Immunology, Epigenetics and Signalling. We investigate the molecular mechanisms that coordinate gene expression and influence cell fate, with distinctive strengths in RNA biology.

Appointed colleagues will be expected to be proactive supporters of equity and diversity. The appointments will be tenured or tenure-track, depending on experience, and come with a competitive salary and support package. This includes core funding; access to exceptional research facilities; the opportunity to supervise PhD students registered at the University of Cambridge; support to develop fellowship and grant applications to enhance the candidate’s research programme.

We welcome informal enquiries to Martin Turner martin.turner@babraham.ac.uk

(Immunology Programme Lead).
