We are looking for a motivated postdoctoral research fellow with excellent tissue-culture skills to join a project focusing on understanding how rare genetic mutations cause lung inflammation, and how this can be targeted therapeutically.
This post is advertised as full-time (35 hours per week); however, we are open to considering flexible working patterns.
The Opportunity:
This post is part of the newly-funded LifeArc Centre for Rare Respiratory Disease. The post holder will be a valuable part of a multi-university Consortium aimed at advancing Rare Respiratory Disease research and therapeutics. The successful candidate will further develop model systems, such as lung organoids, to characterise immune responses of a genetic lung disease which predisposes to activation of the STING immune pathway.
