You will have access to a dedicated training budget tailored towards your personal development, access to industry leading technology and supervision from a leading academic research team from Teesside University. The business partner, Saturn Turbo Services ltd.’s core business model is to deliver customised solutions for the inspection, repair, and maintenance of steam turbines and compressors; alongside the auxiliary systems utilised within turbo machinery which includes (where appropriate) new part design and manufacture.
This KTP aims to implement a new optimised part design and automated manufacturing facility, enabled by Industry 4.0 technology integration.
This position is initially for a 24-month fixed term contract. You will be employed by Teesside University but will be working at the business partner premises day to day.
