This is a 2 year fixed term role offered at full time but fractional appointments of 0.8fte or more would be considered.

About the role:

As an IT Project Manager you will be responsible for delivering designated IT projects on schedule, within budget and to agreed quality standards. You will be responsible for delivering technical change projects, such as cloud adoptions or strategic transformations. You'll be involved in the full project management lifecycle, from gathering requirements (with the help of business analysts), through to delivering the expected outcomes and ensuring that budget, scope and timelines are adhered to.

This two-year role will provide the right candidate with an opportunity to build their career in a senior Project Management role. We are looking for a candidate with the right mindset. If your skills are developing towards a Senior IT PM role and you can demonstrate an aptitude for getting things done in an organised way then this role could be for you.

Knowledge of practical project management tools such as being a guru in Servicenow or the Scaled Agile Framework could be advantageous. About you:

We’re ideally looking for someone with:

  • Experience of end to end project management including proven experience of preparing business cases, project initiation documents, planning and successfully delivering IT projects including risk management, issue resolution, contingencies and formalised project progress reporting
  • Experience in taking care of vendors, markets in which they operate within a multisource environment
  • Experience of major Data Centre application transition
  • Experience of managing total cost of ownership and optimisation of Cloud deployments
  • Proven experience with Software licensing, hardware and complex services contracts
