This post is full time, and has funding for up to 23.5 months.
The School of Computing Science is looking for a Research Associate to make a leading contribution to the project “Women, Ageing and Machine Learning on Screen” (funded by the Leverhulme Trust) working with Dr Tanaya Guha at University of Glasgow, and closely collaborating with teams in University of Leeds and University of Warwick. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of a novel human-centred AI framework that can analyse large volumes of complex, audio-visual screen data automatically to extract meaningful analytics at the intersection of age-gender-ethnicity. The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to the formulation and submission of research publications and research proposals as well as help manage and direct this complex and challenging project as opportunities allow.
