About Us

Fundraising and Supporter Development (F&SD) provides a fundraising and alumni engagement function in support of King’s College London. We are proud to work with colleagues across the university and its health partners to help them serve society through world-leading education, research and healthcare. Our work also includes a partnership with the Maudsley Charity in support of children’s mental health initiatives between the university’s Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience and the South London & Maudsley NHS Trust.

We are strongly values-driven with a focus on sustaining an excellent and supportive culture, which we see as key to creating a successful team that can support the university and its partners in making a real and positive difference to the world we live in.

About the role

Are you interested in joining a dynamic, fast-paced Alumni Relations team at one of the UK’s leading universities? King’s College London have been working to make the world a better place for almost 200 years. Since our foundation in 1829, King's students and staff have dedicated themselves in service of society. The Fundraising & Supporter Development Office has been integral to achieving the university’s ambitious goals and mission.

At King’s we value our global alumni community of over 220,000 King’s graduates. The Alumni Office build connections with alumni worldwide by creating opportunities to connect with fellow alumni, providing exclusive graduate benefits and supporting alumni to develop personally and professionally.

As Alumni Assistant, you will support the work of the Alumni Relations team by assisting with the delivery of in-person and digital key engagement activities including international events, volunteering and mentoring programmes and the King’s Connect online platform. You will also be the first point of contact for alumni and will engage in email and phone interactions daily.

This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and flexible individual who enjoys working as part of a high performing team and is motivated by delivering quality work.

This is a full time post (35 hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite contract.

F&SD has a hybrid working approach, with a minimum of 40% of time in the office. Typically, this equates to two days per week, but we’re very happy for colleagues to be in more frequently if they so wish.
