About the role: Centre Operations Manager – Join a Pioneering Psychedelics Research Team!
We are looking for an energetic and organised Centre Operations Manager with strong experience in managing research-related finances, contracts, and operations. Flexibility, independence, and excellent time-management skills are key, along with a passion for working in a vibrant and rapidly evolving Psychedelics academic-clinical team.
This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your contributions will directly support breakthrough research aimed at understanding and harnessing the therapeutic potential of psychedelics. You will be the operational backbone of the centre, ensuring smooth and efficient administration across finance, data management, and HR processes.
The Centre Operations Manager will be responsible to the Department Manager and Centre Director and will be a key member of a dynamic and busy team while working within the larger Department of Brain Sciences.
What you would be doing:
You will take ownership of key areas including:
Finance & Contracts: Manage and streamline research-related finances and contracts, making sure projects stay on track and compliant.
Collaboration & Communication: Liaise with centre staff and departmental colleagues to ensure seamless communication across multiple research teams.
Operational Support: Set up new research operations, assist with staff travel, hiring, and meetings, and create systems for safe and efficient data sharing with collaborators.
Personal Assistance & Admin: Provide high-quality administrative support to key centre figures, organize meetings, manage calendars, and oversee communications
