Derby College Group (DCG) are seeking a Teacher of Equine (Higher Education) to join the team at our beautiful Broomfield Hall campus. You will assist with the planning and programme leadership of the Equine Science degree programmes and will be responsible for a range of modules at Level 4 through to Level 6, including supervising Dissertation research.
The Opportunity
As part of the teacher role, you will deliver theory aspects of the Equine degree, supported by practical embedment utilising our own Equestrian centre, guest speakers and undertaking external visits. You will be required to deliver high quality, inspirational teaching which encourages students to reach their full potential, promoting progression on to higher level courses, apprenticeships or preparing them for successful careers working within the Equestrian industry.

About you
The successful candidate will have proven experience of providing outstanding support for learners and will be flexible, self-motivated and dedicated to student achievement and quality. Up to date knowledge and experience of the Equine sector is essential, with knowledge and experience in a broad range of industry settings advantageous. A degree in a relevant specialism is essential.
