Senate House Library
Senate House Library is the central library for the University of London and the School of Advanced Study. We are one of the UK's largest academic libraries for arts, humanities & social sciences and are home to many unique and distinctive special collections in the heart of London’s student and research community.
The Role
The successful candidate will lead our Customer Services team, including enquiry and membership services, document supply, accessibility services and the Special Collections Reading Room. You will be joining us at an exciting time with many positive changes planned for our spaces and services.
There will be plenty of opportunities for the successful candidate to participate in and lead projects relating to these changes. The postholder will also be part of the SHL Management Team and therefore contribute meaningfully to strategic decision making.
It’s an excellent opportunity for someone is looking to build upon their existing management or supervisory skills and to develop their leadership skills in order to make a real difference to a library’s services!
