We are looking for a highly-motivated, creative and organised Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join the newly‑formed, Wellcome Trust-funded Mirchandani Lab within the Centre for Inflammation Research and Institute for Regeneration & Repair to study the impact of hypoxia on monocyte biology and ontogeny in context of critical illness.
This post is advertised as full-time (35 hours per week); however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns.
The Opportunity:
This is a 3‑year post, full‑time Postdoctoral Research position to work in the group of Dr. Ananda Mirchandani. The Postdoctoral Fellow role will offer a unique mix of utilising and developing inter‑disciplinary scientific techniques, performing cutting‑edge scientific research, and establishing managerial and leadership capabilities. This post is funded by a Wellcome Trust Career Development Award (£3.1 million, 2024‑2033).
