This is a fixed-term, part-time, job share position. Working hours are Wednesday 9.30am-2.30pm, Thursday 9.30am-2.30pm and Friday 9.30am-2.05pm (two full days, Thursday and Friday only, can also be considered).
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to the post of Student Funding Assistant based in the Student Funding Support Team. You will act as first point of contact for a range of stakeholders on all Student Funding-related matters, providing specialist information and advice via various media including telephone, email, webforms and face to face.
In addition to this, you will undertake a range of administrative tasks relating to scholarships, bursaries and hardship funds, including collating and recording data, processing applications, checking evidence, and determining eligibility. Where appropriate you will signpost students to other internal and external sources of financial and welfare support.
Due to the data-sensitive nature of this role, we are unable to consider applications from current Warwick University Students.
This role will require an Enhanced DBS check.
About You
You will have a good standard of general education and previous experience of working with students. In addition to this, you will have knowledge of statutory student support and the benefits system.
You will also have previous experience of using Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook.
Excellent face to face, telephone and written communication skills are essential for this role, and you will be able to work independently or as part of a wider team and have excellent organisational skills.
