Research & Impact Services (R&IS) is seeking an Interdisciplinary Research Support Officer. The role will be responsible for managing a new team of Interdisciplinary Research Programme Administrators within R&IS, working within the Spotlights Programme.
The role will offer the right candidate an exciting opportunity to shape the Spotlight Programme, playing a pivotal role in the smooth running of interdisciplinary activity across the University, driving exciting and ground-breaking projects.
The IDR Spotlight Programme was launched in April 2024 to foster excellence in interdisciplinary research and impact, raise Warwick’s profile nationally and internationally, and nurture a vibrant interdisciplinary research culture.
This role will engage with academic leadership across the six Spotlights, coordinating the programme and identifying synergies to ensure that activities are efficiently aligned and implemented.
About You
This role will appeal to those passionate about interdisciplinary research and interested in what drives a thriving research culture and innovative teams.
The post-holder will have broad experience in event and project management, with a track record of driving new initiatives and fostering collaboration to achieve strategic goals.
Good people skills, leadership, and emotional intelligence will be essential for building effective partnerships and sustaining active communities of practice.
The post-holder will ensure the effective management of the Spotlight programme’s budget, maintaining compliance while maximising its impact to contribute to the programme's success.
