Harper Adams University is seeking an organised, motivated laboratory technician with great attention to detail who is capable of working independently within a close team structure. The post holder will provide technical support for the rumen IFM (Alltech) procedure which primarily focuses on characterising total mixed rations for their rumen fermentation kinetics. The role will also help identify fermentation kinetic parameters that could be used to improve diet formulation software and assist in the evaluation of dietary supplements. Applicants should be comfortable with data transfer and be able to manipulate data to facilitate curve fitting for the production of final reports.
