Location: College Lane Campus, University of Hertfordshire, Hatfield
We are looking for a talented and pro-active International Admissions Administrator who can contribute to the work of our International Office. The post holder will play a key role in the international admissions function for the University of Hertfordshire and will support the recruitment and commercial functions of the International Office.
Main Duties and responsibilities
Key duties include assessing and processing international and EU applications, making offers, clearing academic and English language conditions relating to applications and liaising with international and EU applicants via phone and email to enable them to apply and gain an offer of a place at the University. You will be required to actively communicate with enquirers, applicants, and students to support them throughout the applications process, whilst working alongside academic admissions tutors to ensure accurate and timely decisions are made and university deadlines are met. You will work closely alongside international recruitment, gaining and strong understanding of overseas qualifications and education systems.
Skills and experience required
For this busy and challenging role, you will need excellent organisational and IT skills. Proven experience of administrative work in international admissions is essential. You should be committed to providing a high-quality service and have good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate previous experience working in a target driven environment and the delivery excellent customer service.
Experience of, student record systems, knowledge of international or EU qualifications or the ability to speak a foreign language would all be advantageous.

Qualifications Required
You must hold a minimum of A-Levels, or equivalent qualification, or have extensive experience or proven professional work experience.
