Research Assistant

A research support position is available in the James lab at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology (LMB). We apply multi-disciplinary approaches to address fundamental questions in health. You will join a highly integrated and motivated team with diverse skills and expertise across molecular biology. You will use biochemical and cellular techniques to investigate how ubiquitin triggers degradation and signalling events.

You should have a 1st degree in biochemistry or other related and some experience of laboratory research. An ability to work independently on dedicated projects is important but also to provide support and become involved with collaborative projects in the lab.

The LMB has a collaborative working culture and state-of-the-art building based on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus.
