Sector Experience Officer

Location: We offer employees the opportunity to work flexibly from home, providing it is within the UK.

Hours: 35 hours per week, flexible working available

Salary: £29,668 – £37,371 per annum, dependent upon knowledge, skills and experience, plus excellent benefits

About the role 

The Sector Experience Officer focuses on enhancing our connection with our audiences to boost membership growth, engagement, and loyalty. Central to this role is the development and execution of dynamic customer engagement strategies that reinforce our value and relevance. This includes creating and delivering a mix of digital and in-person engagement initiatives, for the UK and internationally, designed to attract new members and provide meaningful value to existing ones. By aligning engagement activities with audience needs and expectations, this role supports membership growth, increased revenue, and the sustainability of the sector.

About you 

We are looking for someone with a strong background in customer focused roles, ideally within higher education or a membership environment. You’ll bring experience in designing and delivering value propositions tailored to specific audience needs, using persona mapping and data-driven insights to enhance service delivery.

You should be skilled in gathering and analysing customer feedback to inform product and service improvements and comfortable implementing digital engagement tools and virtual projects. With a track record of delivering excellent customer service and effective communication strategies, you’ll be well-organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines.

A collaborative and tech-savvy approach will help you support team members and users alike in adopting new engagement tools and approaches.
