The Position: We’re looking for a Sports Enrichment Coach – 20 hours per week – 38 weeks per year

 NWSLC are recruiting an enthusiastic Sports Enrichment Coach to lead on the college’s sports & fitness provision. The sports provision includes a range of both recreational sessions and competitive sports teams’ fixtures in a variety of sports. The applicant will take a lead on weekly sport & fitness Enrichment sessions, as well as assisting on AoC fixtures.  

What skills are we looking for:

  • Hold a NGB Level 1 Coaching Qualification or higher.
  • Experience of planning and delivering coaching sessions in a range of sports.
  • Successful track record of leading the development and improvement of individuals.

Responsibilities for the role:

  • To deliver sport & fitness Enrichment sessions appropriate to the age and ability of the participants.
  • Drive forward the student experience and increase student engagement.
  • Contribute towards driving student attendance to ensure positive engagement in all aspects of their college programme.
  • Through sport & fitness, develop learners’ understanding of how to keep physically healthy and maintain an active lifestyle
