Are you an ambitious researcher looking for your next challenge? Do you have a background in Reproduction, Developmental biology or 3D in vitro cell systems? Do you want to further your career in one of the UK’s leading research intensive Universities?
We are looking for an enthusiastic Research Fellow to work on our BBSRC funded grant to understand the role of microRNAs in the evolution of implantation in mammals. Understanding the biological basis of how these microRNAs evolved to drive diversity. In implantation strategies in mammals is key to enhancing pregnancy success in humans, food production, and conservation. We are using an interdisciplinary approach combining novel in vitro 3D approaches to mimic maternal and embryo interactions as well as comparative approaches to determine how microRNAs alter implantation. The candidate will be training in state of the start 3D in vitro models as well as Omics approaches including single cell RNA and ATAC sequencing.
