Multiple Assistant/Associate/Full Professors positions in Information Systems, Supply Chain, and Decision Support

About the positions

As NEOMA Business School continues its trajectory of growth and innovation, we are hiring enthusiastic, full-time, permanent faculty members across various disciplines to join our institution. Our school is dedicated to developing global business leaders through impactful research, innovative pedagogy, and collaboration with industries. 

Recruited candidates will be joining the Department of Information Systems, Supply Chain, and Decision Support. The department has around 40 permanent professors. Faculty members have been awarded with several teaching excellence awards, and published in top-tier journals, such as Operations Research; Journal of Supply Chain Management; Production and Operations Management journal; MS&OM, Journal of Operations Management, among others. The Department is responsible for outstanding MSc programs in Business Analytics, AI, Supply Chain, and Project Management. 

For this new cycle of recruitment, the Department is particularly looking for the following profiles:

• Purchasing (covering topics such as contracts, purchasing consortium, etc)
• Transportation & Logistics (facility location, vehicle routing, etc)
• Inventory Management (stochastic models optimization; discrete models; dynamic programming)
• Information Systems (strategic use of IS, business value of IT, digital capabilities)
• AI Applied to Business (computation) (machine learning; transformers; generative AI)
• Business Analytics (large scale optimization; machine learning; algorithms; sensitivity analysis)
• Data Analysis (data analysis; statistics; coding with R or Python)
• Project Management (project management; methodologies (Scrum, Agile, Lean); cost-benefit analysis; project risk management)

About the candidates 

We are looking for motivated, high-potential candidates who: 

• Hold a PhD from an internationally recognized institution (or are close to completing it)
• Have a publication record (or strong publication potential) in top international peer-reviewed journals, including journals ranked by Financial Times 50, AJG CABS-UK, and FNEGE-France.
• Are passionate about impactful research and are committed to excellence in its pursuit
• Are eager to diffuse their knowledge in the classroom, empowering our students and executives with new insights to help them navigate a complex and uncertain world
• Can leverage innovative pedagogy to deliver high-quality classes in English (while it is a plus, knowledge of French is not required)
• Are willing to disseminate research and expertise to our external stakeholders, both locally and globally
• Have a proactive and collegial attitude toward their colleagues, their department, and the school
• Look forward to actively participate in developing and implementing the school’s strategy

The application package consists of a cover letter, CV, names of three referees, job market paper (i.e., an unpublished paper showcasing the quality of your research), representative publications and/or working papers (if available, and optional - with a maximum of three), and recent teaching evaluations (if available).
