St Augustine’s College of Theology is seeking to appoint two part-time, or one full-time tutorial staff. These two positions, 0.6 and 0.4, require innovative curricular thinking; skills in program oversight; and the teaching and pastoral ability to serve a theologically, ethnically, and educationally diverse body of students.
Tutors will hold responsibilities for program development; student guidance in both academic and ministerial formation; and teaching in at least one of the following areas: Pastoral theology, Spirituality, Worship, Mission.
One of these posts will have primary responsibility for teaching Pastoral Theology. Though our preference is for two part-time appointments, we would consider a full-time post, and applications should state any interest in this.
We particularly encourage applications from candidates belonging to ethnic minorities.
St. Augustine’s College of Theology is a Church of England theological college, serving London and the Southeast in providing formation for lay and ordained ministry, as well as theological qualifications from certificate to MA.
Salary and conditions of service will be in accordance with the Church of England’s Lichfield Scale. A housing allowance is also included.
