Boston University Study Abroad London – South Kensington, London SW7
Boston University Study Abroad London is the largest of Boston University’s study-abroad programmes, providing the opportunity of study in London for approximately 1,200 students from our US campus each year.
Our South Kensington Academic centre occupies a fine historic building, where we have excellent facilities. Our own student accommodation is within walking distance. BUSA London has recently added another wonderful residential building to its portfolio in Bloomsbury WC1E London. Students take a full academic course load during their semester in London drawn from a wide set of university disciplines, ranging from 15- week semester programmes, to short 6-8 week Summer programmes and courses. These are taught by London-based faculty members and US-based faculty in the Summer. A full social and cultural programme complements the academic elements.
Residence Life Co-ordinator (RLC)
The Residence Life Coordinator (RLC) will support the delivery of student services at BUSA London, including the day-to-day provision of high-quality student resources, engagement activities, welfare and pastoral care, and housing. The RLC will primarily oversee BU London’s student residences and manage the Residence Life Supervisors, while also supporting the Assistant Director of Student Support & Operations and other departments.

Success in the role requires an active, supportive and effective hands-on management style that delivers excellent service through a small team and its activities. It is essential that the post-holder is lively, enthusiastic and thoroughly immersed in providing an excellent student experience. They must be able to work flexibly as the need arises. A positive, outgoing and flexible attitude with a can-do approach are essential.
