The Faculty of Science and Technology are looking to appoint enthusiastic, hardworking and creative individuals into the role of Recruitment, Conversion and Marketing Coordinator in School of Computing and Communications/School of Engineering. The overall function of this position is to provide a high standard of support to the department, undergraduate and postgraduate student recruitment, conversion and marketing activities, and to play a full role in its development and success. You will organise and be involved in on-campus recruitment activities such as open days and school offer holder events and play a key role in delivering the school recruitment and marketing plan in collaboration with academic colleagues. You will work closely with colleagues in the school and join a wider Faculty team of colleagues who work in the same type of role for each department/school.
You will be expected to demonstrate initiative and creativity in a fast moving and challenging environment of student recruitment. The ability to work on your own initiative and communicate with a range of people from a variety of backgrounds is essential. You will have a varied workload and have supervisory responsibility for a team of department student ambassadors.
Blended working including a combination of in person office based and remote digital working from home is likely. Training and support will be provided throughout.
