About the Role
The post holder will work closely with the Head of School, School Manager and the Senior Management team to lead on strategically significant projects that aim to fulfil the long-term strategic objectives of the School. The individual will support strategic decision-making and business development initiatives utilising a variety of strategic and project management tools and techniques. They will play a significant role in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives within the School, including the further development of executive education, competitive analysis of higher education, and engagement with external stakeholders to build, develop and foster partnerships with key organisations.
About You
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level in a relevant field or have equivalent relevant experience. In addition, the successful candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering projects, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task in a highly dynamic environment. Furthermore, experience of project work relating to Higher Education initiatives and a proven ability to use initiative to review processes and procedures and develop systems / solutions to enable efficient and effective management is essential.
About the School/Department/Institute/Project
The School of Economics and Finance is a leader in teaching and research at both the national and international level. It has a range of both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, including programmes that are jointly run with other Schools. The School has over 800 undergraduate students, and over 1000 postgraduate taught students. It offers excellent facilities and resources to enhance learning, including offering training and access to real time trading software to both UG and PGT students.
