About the Role
The School of the Arts is looking to appoint an experienced and suitably qualified Executive Officer to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Senior Management team, including the Head of School.
You will be responsible for diary management, data collation, report co-ordination, events and health and safety administration and providing administrative support for a variety of School committees, boards and meetings. The role holder will also be responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities of the School.
About You
You will have a degree or equivalent experience and experience of working in an education environment. You will have excellent organisational skills, be able to work using your own initiative and have strong problem-solving skills. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and take a proactive approach in your work.
About the School
The School of the Arts is a newly created School within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, which comprises seven Schools that deliver the research and education activity of the Faculty. The School offers a range of programmes at UG, PG, Foundation and Masters level, and also offers courses to students across the University.
