Are you a committed IT Project Manager looking to make a significant impact at a world-leading institution? Saïd Business School is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to join our AV-IT Department. This role offers the opportunity to deliver cutting-edge IT solutions and manage a diverse portfolio of technology projects that enhance our School's systems and processes.
You'll be at the forefront of innovation, working with top-tier technology and collaborating with senior executives, faculty, staff and students. Using Agile, PRINCE2 and other project management methodologies, you will lead the successful implementation of IT systems that support the School’s mission of tackling global challenges.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and deliver a variety of IT projects on time, within budget and to quality standards.
- Employ Agile and PRINCE2 methods to deliver technical systems and functionalities.
- Develop and manage project plans, business cases, risk logs and budget reports. Track benefits realisation and report progress to stakeholders.
- Oversee the migration to new technologies, user acceptance testing and quality assurance processes.
- Ensure the successful transition of projects from development to go-live, providing high-level support and training post-implementation.
You will have excellent IT skills and a proven track record of successfully delivering technology-based projects on time, within budget and to the satisfaction of end users. You must also be adept at translating business objectives into IT specifications and have experience working within Agile or adaptive project management environments. Expertise in project initiation, planning, reporting, budget and stakeholder management, as well as a history of managing a programme of diverse IT projects, is required.
