We are looking to appoint a Research Fellow in International Law & Dispute Settlement. The post will support the implementation of our work on international law and dispute settlement, particularly the practice of international courts and tribunals, as well as in areas such as the law of the sea, investment and trade law, and international human rights law. Specifically, the Research Fellow will contribute to the implementation of a project on ‘Mixed Disputes’ in International Law/International Dispute Settlement.

This is a full-time role, initially for a period of 9 months. Consideration will be given to secondments or a 0.8 FTE arrangement, if requested. A salary package of £30,000–£34,000 per annum pro rata is expected, depending on qualifications and experience. An appointment at the more junior level of Researcher may be considered, depending on qualifications and experience.

We are looking for people with some expertise in international legal research, including specifically the practice of international courts and tribunals. You will have a good postgraduate degree in a relevant field, with a PhD being a strong advantage.
