About the role:
As the Learning Technologist for Library Services, you will contribute to the successful delivery of the library’s Information and Digital Literacy teaching programmes, working closely and collaborating with library liaison teams, Faculty Educational Technology (EdTech) teams, academic departments, and other units across the university.
You will support the learning and teaching remit of Library Services in providing a holistic programme encompassing a range of information and digital literacy skills and competencies, which is delivered in line with the university’s Learning and Teaching Strategy. Working with library staff with teaching responsibilities you will provide essential expertise in learning design and development of learning and teaching content.
What you would be doing:
You will be responsible for the design, delivery and implementation of appropriate digital technologies for teaching and training activities across all student levels, and provide advice, guidance and training where necessary to library staff. Responsibilities will include:
