The Department of Media and Communications is seeking to appoint a highly committed and motivated Graduate Programmes Coordinator to manage the admissions, teaching delivery and student experience of the Department’s taught Master’s programmes.
Duties will include acting as administrative lead for monitoring and responding to all current student and admissions enquiries, managing the organisation and delivery of MSc-related events (virtual and in person), and the administration of the Department’s taught master’s programmes, delivering a high level of customer service and developing a first-class student experience for our Master’s cohort and high-quality support to academic staff.
Candidates will be expected to have previous experience providing administrative support, advice and guidance to staff and students in an academic department, will have excellent written and oral communication skills, the ability to plan and organise their own workload, and the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with Departmental and School colleagues. In addition, candidates will be expected to have the ability to plan, organise and run internal and external-facing events
