About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Executive Assistant to support the Bone and Joint Health Group within the Centre of Neuroscience, Surgery and Trauma at the Blizard Institute. This role will involve direct support for Professor Griffin and Professor Sheehan, focusing on various administrative and operational tasks essential for the smooth running of the group.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a leading academic institution at the forefront of research in musculoskeletal health. You will play a pivotal role in facilitating research initiatives and supporting the day-to-day operations of a dynamic academic team.

You are an organised and proactive professional with an undergraduate degree in a relevant subject or equivalent experience. Your excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills enable you to manage tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Experience in higher education administration or a clinical research setting is preferred. You thrive in collaborative settings and possess strong team-working abilities.
About the School/Department/Institute/Project
The Blizard Institute was established in 2003 and is one of six Institutes within the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, QMUL. The Institute comprises approximately 350 staff based in four academic Centres and one Public Engagement Centre, and supports a combined total of c750 postgraduate research and taught students. The Institute aims to deliver excellence in all aspects of research, teaching and clinical service.
